Touch Blog Tour

Hey guys, I apologize for not getting this up sooner. I have winterguard tryouts going on right now, so my mind has been focused on those.
Anyways, I am excited to be the next stop on the tour! You can check out upcoming posts and previous posts here! You can also go there to enter into the grand prize!

My Review:
Touch by Jus Accardo is a fast-paced novel that includes lots of action and that wonderful thing I love called romance. It gave me heartache, chills, and knots in my stomach. The action never ceased, always keeping me on the edge of my seat. I stayed up till one in morning on some nights, just so I could see what happened next. It completely captivated my attention for all of Fall break.
Even though the book was so thrilling, I can't ignore the content that I didn't appreciate. I would definitely not let my little sister read it or any teen 14 or younger. There is a lot of drinking, swearing, and some sexual content. For these reasons I don't like the book as much as I would have if it didn't contain these three. Now don't get me wrong, the book was great and I can understand some swearing and drinking. But I am strongly against sexual content in young adult books. It just simply should not be in there. As I said before, this book was really good and if it hadn't had those things in there, I would have enjoyed it more.
I really liked the book, and I would love to read the next book (if there is one/going to be one). I really want to find out what happens to Kale and Dez. I just hope the sexual content vanishes.

  5. Thanks for the review! I think sexual tension is okay most of the teens now already know about that anyway but graphic sex...not okay. I still want to read this book!
