Just finished Paranormalcy! *insert cheers here* Great book by the way, I loved it. It was funny, action packed, and always made you keep turning the next page. Kiersten White did a wonderful job of writing this book! (And if you ever get the chance to meet her, I highly recommend taking the opportunity, because she is such a funny, wonderful person!) And to prove just how great she is, here's a little excerpt from Paranormalcy (I won't use names so nothing is ruined) "So **** said in his stupid commanding voice, 'I'll be taking her with me' and I said, 'Over my dead body,' and he shrugged like that was fine by him and started toward me. But then my dad, who had gone back to the car as soon as *skip over*, came out with his golf club. I never understood why he keeps custom golf clubs everywhere since he doesn't actually golf. But then he held it up in the air and said, 'I've got a nine iron that says otherwise.'" I never thought of a golf club being a plausible threat to a paranormal creature... Such a good book, and if you haven't read it, I recommend it.
Weird as it is working for the International Paranormalcy Containment Agency, Evie's always thought of herself as normal. Sure, her best friend is a mermaid, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she's falling for a shape-shifter, and she's the only person who can see through paranormals' glamours, but still. Normal.
Only now paranormals are dying, and Evie's dreams are filled with haunting voices and mysterious prophecies. She soon realizes that there may be a link between her abilities and the sudden rash of deaths. Not only that, but she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.
So much for normal.
There's that just in case you wanted it
